You will adore this elegant two-bedroom, two-bath, ocean-front Honeymoon Penthouse Suite located on the sixth floor. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The heated marble floors and the bright cheery colors make you feel like royalty. To make you feel even more pampered, the master suite sports a king, 18" high mattress where you can lounge in privacy watching movies or listening to music. The second bedroom also has a king bed and by the use of rollaway beds, this condo will accommodate six. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. No pets are allowed in this condo.

We were quite delighted to have such a clean, nice furnished, brightly painted condo to stay in. Everything we needed we found in a cupboard or drawer. Very nice.

"Great View"

We have stayed at S&S; for 6 years. Some of the units are better than others. 608-9 had one of the showers not working, not informed until we checked into the unit. The oven/stove could use an update..we manaaged but was difficult. The new windows are great but need drapes in bedrooms and LR. The master bed is too high and not comfortable. The decorations are a mis-match and could stand to be updated. The office staff and housekeepers were very nice and helpful.
We will stay again but not in that unit.

A great condo in a fantastic location. Incredible views of the ocean & mountains. A clean, perfectly furnished condo great for families. We didn't use the pool, but it looked great. We will definitely stay there again, hopefully soon!

We loved it. Amazing views, great location. It was relatively quiet as it was on the top floor and corner. Very nicely furnished and the heated marble floors were great in the 35 degree weather.

"Wonderful "stormy" weekend"

We stayed at the Sand and Sea in a 2 bedroom suite. It was very comfortable and had lots of room. The weekend was stormy, but it didn't dampen our weekend. The floor to ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the ocean. Great experience!

Once again Sand and Sea was the perfect place to stay. It's nice to be able to check in and have no surprises. Great condo that was clean and tastefully decorated, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, nice desk staff, and a simple walk to all things Seaside. Kudos to you all at Sand and Sea! See you in a month or two...?

"Quality time in Quality place"

We love this place, but this pacticular visit our 1st room had maybe a smoking smell and my husband got instant headache so they moved us to this room and cleaned it nicely & quickly for us they were very nice always have been:) but our room had a broken curtain which obstructed our Ocean View a bit which we pay for so I wish they could have rigged it somehow or just taken it down. But we didn't ask my son was leaving for army that following Monday so we just wanted to spend our time enjoying each other and we did!!

This is a beautiful room obviously taken care of and decorated. We felt completely comfortable and cozy. Although there was more family in room 602-3 and we spent a great deal of time there, I would have loved to spend more time in 608-9 because of it's warmth feel. I look forward to using that room again next year, for sure.

"A very nice condo with a great view"

We rented the condo as a two bedroom and that worked out great with our two teenage girls. The view was wonderful and being on the top floor on the corner meant we had relatively quiet evenings. The condo rates an "A" but even "A" vacation places can be improved upon:
1) provide pull down shades for the bedrooms, These are easy to install, inexpensive, and will provide better darkness in the bedroom. We ended up putting a blanket over the windows so we could sleep.
2) Upgrade the microwave so that you can actually put cook for a precise amount of time and power. I don't think that kind of microwave (which the rotary time dial) has been made since the mid-1990's.
3) Provide a channel guide for the cable
4) Upgrade the shower curtain in the master bath.
5) At some point, replace the shower/tub kit in the master bath with a tiled shower/tub or a better tub kit.
6) Provide a squeege to clean the deck glass "railings."
7) Provide instructions about the fireplace and that all of the outlets are "switched." Fortunately, I brought a power strip so that I could plug in the Linksys wireless network hub and not have it switched off.
8) It would be nice if the elevator did not "ding" so loud when it came to the floor. It was very loud and could be easily heard in our bedrooms.
These "tweaks" will make a very good condo outstanding!

in Seaside. The staff is very accomodating and the accomodations are great w/fabulous views.

"Not Good"

Roomy place but the cleaning was much to be desired, It says newly remodeled however paint is coming off the walls in one bedroom, and doesn't look to be remodeled. No a/C or fan at all in the place . (608-609) If it's warm out you will be miserable here. It's way over priced for what you get. Ocean View you'll have to close the blinds for heat relief so view at night time. The pool is tiny and crowded. The maids don't come around until whenever if you can get them at all. Will not stay here ever again nor recomend this place.

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. You are right it was hot!!! The average temperature for Seaside in July is 67 degrees. It was almost 100 degrees. We don't have air conditioning in the condos because of our cool weather. The pool was crowed and it is a smaller pool. The bedroom is the only room left for the owner to paint. Mary

The location, condo, pool, prom, & beach were great! However; the maid and maintenance man were not. The maid told us that we needed to take our garbage "down the hall and did not even clean the unit or give us toilet paper. Her attitude was awful and she continued to argue with my daughter about whether we had maid service on our door or not. In addition, the maintenence man was not courteous and very strange. Even so, we had a great time!

I had a great time at this loaction. The view was absolutely amazing. The beach access was wonderful. We also enjoyed the very short walking distance to the main stretch of shops.

"Above it all!"

608-9 is on the top floor, South end of the building. The view is amazing, even from the master bedroom. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how light it is. The living and dining room furnishings are very comfortable. Very nice bed's in both bedrooms with great linens. This condo was updated very nicely without being trendy. The kitchen was stocked very well and we didn't wish for anything. The TV's were simple to understand which isn't always the case.
It would have been nice to have blinds in the master bedroom for a nap or sleeping in. We didn't use the heated floor because we didn't know how to turn them on/off and didn't want to risk hurting anything. Neither of those things will prevent us from staying in this condo again. It is truly hard to find something wrong with unit 608-9.

we had a great time, condo was wonderful. beds were extremely comfortable with the exception of the hide a bed. condo was very well kept. only recommendation would be to change the hide a bed. it was found to be extrememly uncomfortable and we ended up taking the mattress of the couch and put it on the floor for comfort.

Most things were nice about this condo. The view is awesome and the mirrors are hung in good locations, so the ocean can be seen from almost anywhere in the main room. The bedding and towels seemed nice and clean.
We were very disappointed that there was no DVD player and no working VHS machine to play the movies that we had brought. Movies are important to us, and we had looked forward to being cozy and enjoying great movies at night. Movies didn't happen. Also there was a dirty knife stuck in the wooden knife holder, which caused us to wonder how well the dishes had been cleaned.
Suggestion: Get a DVD player and a working VHS player and stock the home with G or PG (no R or X) movies that are positive and have happy endings, and your renters will be happier and return again another year for more of the same.
Overall it was great. Thanks.

"Enjoyed our stay"

My husband and I stayed three nights at Sand and Sea in unit 608-9 with our 14 year old granddaughter and her friend. The view and location were fantastic - it even impressed the teenagers. We had everything we needed in the condo and were more than satisfied with how well it was maintained. We'd definitely recommend it to friends and family and hope to return ourselves. The folks in the office were super friendly and helpful.

We Love staying in the Penthouse Suite! It's the only one we will stay in now. The view is awesome, and the staff at The Sand and Sea are very polite and helpful.
The room is great too! For a vacation rental the owners have decorated it appropriately and adequately.
We always hate to leave! We feel like it our home away from home.

"Spring Break"

The room we stayed in was so cool. The kids piled on the blankets and we kept the heat and the fireplace on to warm the back bedrooms. The decor and the view was great. Nice to have the full kitchen to use. They had the basic kitchen supplies there for us to use.
We were disappointed in how cold the pool was. I'd expect water that cold from the ocean, but not the indoor swimming pool. If it were warmer, that would have made our stay!
