Sit back and watch the waves break on the beach from this two bedroom, two bath oceanfront condo with over 1100 sq. ft. of living area. Located on the fourth floor this condo has a queen bed in the first bedroom, a queen bed in the master bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen comes fully equipped and includes a microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker. There is also a flat screen TV, internet access, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. No pets are allowed in this condo.

This unit is really dated but we go there for the view and access to the beach. This is an annual event we have enjoyed for many, many years. Will be back again !!

The reservation was easy, I have been many times and love Sand and Sea. I was alittle disappointed that I had made the reservations a
few weeks before coming but no one checked and the fireplace and the DVD player didn't work.
Someone came up and fixed the fireplace (while we were in the room) and the DVD Player was replaced, but I think that the working order
of those things should have been checked before we checked in.
Otherwise...a great stay. Mary is always great and so was allison.

"Another Fine Stay at Sand and Sea"

Good News: The beds are comfortable - the kitchen adequately furnished - bathroom and personal supplies are ample - great ocean views and surrounding area - heating system provided nice comfort. Nice window coverings.
Bad News: The recliner chairs need to be replaced, they are far from adequate. The kitchen table is shabby looking and the chairs are uncomfortable. The television is on the wrong wall. It needs to be on the south wall to avoid the afternoon and early evening glare.

We were there during the kite festival. I loved the huge windows overlooking the beach and ocean.We enjoyed the balcony. The kitchen was complete to cook a nice meal and the beds were very comfortable. Everything is within walking distance.

"Love Sand & Sea"

This was our third year at Sand and Sea. We love the Prom, the convenience to downtown Seaside and all the people who work to make our stay enjoyable.
We walk on the beach every day, rain or shine and visit the shops several times during our weeks stay.
Our unit was not as comfortable as the others we have stayed in. Very much in need of some upgrading. The dining room table and chairs were very scruffy. The guest bed was not comfortable. The recliners need to be replaced due to lack of mechanisms (had been removed).
We will definitely return to another unit. Thank you to the staff who are always pleasant and helpful.

We had fun, swam, ate in house, slept good (except the hide-a-bed-- I don't think any of them could be comfortable anywhere) furnished very well, clean, let us check out late, Mary was very accomodating. This was our fourth year being there and we will continue to come. It was that good.

It's always a delight to visit your condos, the service and hospitality is great. The rooms/beds are extremely comfortable, it's like being at home away from home without the distractions of the city life.

"Amazing View"

We enjoyed our stay at The Sand and Sea. The service was very good and the Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The unit (400-1) has a wonderful view of the ocean, and is very quiet. Even being as close to the boardwalk and downtown as we were, we didn't notice a lot of noise. We did get to see one of the most awesome sunsets while we were there.
The unit was comfortable and had plenty of room for the four of us.
The location to downtown Seaside was great. The grandkids loved the pool and the closeness to the beach.
The best part is the location...
The room definitely needs some cosmetic attention. The recliners are not working, so I think they either should be repaired or removed. For the cost of this unit I'd like to see some upgrades. Maybe a King size bed in the Master bedroom, and just a general modernization of this unit would be worth the cost.

"All's Well that Ends Well"

I had reserved this specific unit (400-401) because it was described (and continues to be described to this day ) as having two quality recliners in the livng room. This was is of critical importance for my husband who has continual pain in his spine due to bone cancer. When we checked into the unit, we discovered that the reclining mechanisms for both recliners in the unit had been removed from the chairs. The front desk clerk enabled me to look at other available units with chairs that might work and we were able to move to another unit (200-201) that worked well for us (though it did not have as nice a view as the original unit). It was definitely an inconvenience to spend a couple of hours (after a four hour drive) having to find another unit and relocate our things. While 400-401 appeared to be an otherwise nice unit, the inaccurate description of the furnishings could have had a serious impact on us had we been there at a busier time of year when other untis may not have been available.

This unit was fine. Lots of dishes for the 5 of us. Everything was clean etc. Some units have more seating in the living area. But other than that it was fine and the cleaning service also wonderful.

The view was the best part of this apartment. The manager and website stated this unit was just remodeled, when we got there is sure didn't look like it. We were very disappointed!! the furniture, specially in the bedrooms was very old and outdated.

This unit is beautiful. Love the wall papers and decor. Great for the girls shared expense get away. The only disappointment were the recliners in the living room. Only one of them reclined by manually pulling on the foot rest. Nice flat screen tv in living room. The floor to ceiling windows and deck overlooking the Pacific are the best features. The staff at Sand and Sea are exceptional; prompt and pleasant. Two thumbs up!

Had a wonderful stay! Our room was occupied when we showed up, so the (super friendly) gal at the front desk put us up on the 6th floor. When we walked in we literally dropped our bags and walked to the wall of windows overlooking the ocean. Incredible!! The room was very nice. All of the Seaside action is steps away from the condos. The staff was great. The room was great! The location is great! I highly recommend The Sand and Sea!! We are looking forward to staying there again!

"Fun room - great for a family!"

Our family's been coming here for almost seven years, and loved it every time. The room has a nice Queen-sized bad, bathroom, kitchenette, and goregous veiw out a glass wall and out on the balcony. We have 6 people, so we rent a second, side bedroom that becomes the master bedroom and all us kids take over the rest of the room. All the amenities of the big gianormous hotel across the street, but more space to stretch out and at half the price!
There's a pool, elevator, free parking, working stove and full sized refridgerator... everything for a perfect weekend at the beach. Bring Your Own Towels for swimming in the pool, but expect great housecleaning service and amazing sunsets.
Seaside is a great place to go, and the Sand & Sea has the best rooms for the best price.

"A View to Live For"

This was our second stay at Sand and Sea. We took my parents, both in their 80s. The condo was very comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed a glorious ocean view from the dinning/living room. My parents greatly appreciated the elevator.

sand and sea has the best view in seaside. it has all the comforts of home. my grandchildren can enjoy the pool at sand and sea. i have been coming to sand and sea for over 30 years.

"Not near as good as the time before"

We have stayed at Sand & Sea before and was totally happy but this particular condo was not as nice. The furniture was ripped,very beat up, and dirty. New furniture was supposed to come while we were there but never did. We still enjoyed being at the beach and all the room we had but it needed to be remodeled. (painted and new furniture) If these repairs were made and updated I would recommend this condo. We just didn't feel that we got our moneys worth that time.

"Great retreat with no hassles"

This was the first time we had every spent time in a condominium. It had been recommended by a friend. We came in March and while resting in the room watched a storm, and people digging for clams in the rain. We were able to cook our meals; completely furnished with cookware and dinnerware.
We walked approximately 40 feet from the front desk to get to the beach. The maids were great. And the maintenance person was very helpful and helped make the trip enjoyable. Although we didn't use the swimming pool, the children that accompanied our friends used it and was quite pleased. We definitely can't wait to come back again.
