Astoria is only 15 miles north of Seaside on Highway 101.

The Astoria Column

The Astoria Column was built in 1926 and is located at 2199 Coxcomb Dr in Astoria. The tower reaches 125 feet and has 164 steps winding to the top. The tower is open from dawn to dusk and a $1.00 parking donation is requested. For more information please call 503 325 2963. 

Columbia River Maritime Museum

Located at 1792 Marine Drive in Astoria, the column is open to the public daily from 9:30AM-5:00PM. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors and $5.00 for children ages 6-17. For more information call 503 325 2323.

Astoria Riverfront Trolley

A restored 1913 trolley runs for 2.6 miles along th Columbia River in Astoria. You can catch it anywhere on the riverfront between Basin and 39th streets. Round trip is $1.00 and an all-day pass is $2.00.
