Sand and Sea Dog Registration and Guest Acknowledgment of Responsibility

Qualifications and Fees:
We welcome up to two quiet, non-aggressive dogs for each specially designated “pet-friendly” unit. Dogs must be current on their vaccinations. A nonrefundable fee of $25 per day for each day of the stay will be assessed for the first dog. An additional $10 each day will be assessed for the second dog. Dogs must be checked in at the front desk. All dogs must be compliant with Sand & Sea rules and policies which are outlined below.

Noise and Behavior:
Barking and noises disruptive to other guests are not acceptable. Guests with disruptive dogs may be asked to leave or make other arrangements for their dogs. No refund will be given in the event of a stay shortened by unacceptable dog behavior. What constitutes “unacceptable dog behavior” will be determined solely by Sand & Sea staff.

Where Dogs are Allowed:
Dogs are permitted in common areas only when restrained and under control by appropriate means such as a leash or crate. Dogs may not be left unattended in common areas even if restrained. Only specific units are “pet friendly.” Dogs are not permitted to enter any other unit.

Clean-Up and Housekeeping:
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please let us know immediately should an accident occur and you need special cleaning supplies to prevent permanent damage. Please ask at the front desk for a furniture cover if your dog will be on the furniture. Do not give your dog a bath in the shower or bathtub. An outdoor faucet is available for your use. Housekeeping services must be arranged in advance for a time when the dog is not present.

Checkout:
Please notify the front desk when you are ready to check out. Before you leave, the condition of the unit will be inspected by Sand & Sea staff. If damage has occurred, additional charges to cover cleaning or replacement will be assessed. Such damage may include, but is not limited to soiling, scratching or tearing linen,carpets, walls, screens, window coverings, doors or furniture. Additional fees may be assessed for excessive odors, pet hair, fleas, or sand on the furniture.

I have read, understood and agree to abide by the above dog policy. I understand that I am solely responsible for the health and well being of my dog. I agree to assume full and complete responsibility for any property damage or personal injury caused by my dog(s) suffered by any person while on Sand & Sea property. In the event that such personal injuries or property damage should arise, I hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sand & Sea and its officers, directors, homeowners, agents, and employees from and against any and all demands, claims, and damages to persons or property, losses and liabilities, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or caused by my negligence, willful misconduct or failure to comply with this policy.
